Step-by-Step Cooking Instructions:

Prep the Shrimp:Rinse your fresh shrimp under cold water. If they aren’t already peeled and deveined, take care of that now for easier eating. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

Heat the Pan:In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. The butter adds rich flavor, and the olive oil prevents it from burning.

Cook the Garlic:Add the minced garlic to the skillet and cook for about 30 seconds to 1 minute, stirring frequently until it becomes fragrant. Be careful not to let the garlic burn!

Add the Shrimp:Place the shrimp in the skillet in a single layer. Season them with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if you’re adding a bit of heat). Cook for 2-3 minutes on one side until they start turning pink.

Flip the Shrimp:Flip each shrimp over and cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until fully pink and cooked through.

Add Lemon Juice & Butter:Once the shrimp are cooked, turn off the heat and stir in the remaining 1 tablespoon of butter and the lemon juice. This step will create that irresistible, silky garlic butter sauce that makes the dish so flavorful.

Garnish & Serve:Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley on top and serve immediately! This shrimp pairs well with pasta, rice, or some crusty bread to soak up all the garlic butter goodness.

Tip:

For a complete meal, toss the shrimp with cooked pasta or serve it over steamed veggies for a lighter option. However you choose to serve it, enjoy every bite!
